Bonnie Yeager, Ph.D., DM, is an experienced administrator, manager, instructor, trainer, and technician. As a member of the Rodgers Group, she works to facilitate improved organizational performance through collaboration and mentoring throughout the accreditation process. This endeavor is backed by years of experience in both law enforcement and academic settings.
Dr. Yeager has knowledge and experience with modern supervisory techniques and principles, communications, emergency-management procedures, and complaint mitigation. She holds a Ph.D. in psychology and a professional doctorate in management and leadership, along with master’s degrees in administrative science and industrial/organizational psychology. Bonnie has conducted several research studies including her dissertations, Self-Efficacy in Compounded-Stress Assessment and Reported Life Satisfaction among Virtual First Responders: A Predictive Study, and Effectively Leading a Police Organization in the 21st Century: A Qualitative Case Study.
In her work as a member of the police department, Dr. Yeager continues to act as accreditation manager, coordinate policies and procedures, manage paralegal concerns, supervise personnel and services, formally and informally train personnel, advise subordinates, and write grants. With certificates in emergency medicine, management, paralegal studies, and communications, she emphasizes public safety in all aspects.
Adept with online work and technological approaches to subject material, Bonnie holds a strong belief in life-long and adult learning. As a university faculty member, she facilitates doctoral-level courses on public safety leadership, theories of leadership, public administration, professional ethics, and research. As a volunteer, Dr. Yeager has acted as a mediator for the Superior Court of New Jersey for more than 20 years and served on a rescue squad. She is a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, and a certified public manager. Bonnie and her husband, Mike, split their time between their homes in Chester, NJ, and Wesley Chapel, FL.
